Please Come Again and Cover Me With Your Gentle Touch as You Did Unto the

Picture this: Yous've orchestrated the perfect at-home appointment for your significant other, featuring candles, wine, and a lovingly home-cooked (or lovingly ordered via app) dinner. But just equally your person texts you lot that they're on their way, y'all realize that you lot have no idea what sort of music to play to retain the romantic ambience. After all, you can't have your early on 2000s guilty pleasance songs come up upwards on shuffle while you're trying to stare lovingly into your partner'south eyes (nix ruins the mood like the distinctive "youuuuuu" at the start of "Soulja Boy." And yes, that instance is based on a true story).

Anyway, I've got you covered with my list of the most beautiful, hopeful, and achingly romantic songs ever written (in my humble opinion). You'll have your crush/partner/Bumble engagement swooning.

"ROS" - Mac Miller

Nigh romantic lyrics: "I'm in your heart, I'thou in your dream/ So fuck the world information technology's you and me"

Rationale: When the outside world becomes vicious, many couples turn inward and develop that u.s.a.-against-the-earth mindset. In "ROS," Mac Miller captures what information technology's like to feel close to someone, spending much of this song describing the little things he loves about his partner, like her "stained glass" eyes, butterscotch-scented pare, and kiwi-flavored lips. The lyrics are intimate in every fashion, and Mac delivers them with his characteristic rawness.

"These Artillery of Mine" - Otis Redding

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "These arms of mine, they are solitary/ Alone and feeling blueish/ These arms of mine, they are yearning/ Yearning from wanting you"

Rationale: This song hits me right in the chest. It's incommunicable not to experience your arms and chest aching like Reddings' when he sings about called-for to hold his lover. The music crescendos around his smoothen voice equally he begs,  "And if yous would permit them concord y'all/ Oh, how grateful I would be." Information technology's such a sugariness, earnest plea for love, and its focus on physicality is pretty sexy, too.

"Ex Factor" - Lauryn Loma

Nearly romantic lyrics: "See, no 1 loves you more than me/ and no 1 ever volition"

Rationale: No one knows how to obliterate me emotionally quite like Lauryn Colina does. In "Ex Factor" (and on this whole album, permit's be real), she's vulnerable, baring all her devotion to her beau. Nosotros recognize straightaway that her relationship is toxic, but Hill'southward honesty is so beautiful that we humble listeners have no choice but to sit, transfixed, and heed.

"Skinny Love" - Bon Iver

About romantic lyrics: "Told my love to wreck information technology all/ Cut out all the ropes and let me autumn"

Rationale: When this song came out in 2007, I was in middle school. I could non stop singing it as I traipsed through my house, near-tears as I crooned about "the sink of blood and crushed veneer," equally though my twelve years on earth had been rife with tragic love affairs.

Nevertheless, this vocal still holds up. Bon Iver is a master at depicting what it's similar to fully surrender yourself to someone while aware that they may hurt you lot in the cease. I still sing this song while I lounge around my little studio apartment, drawing on real-life experiences this time, though I assure y'all that none of them involved blood-filled sinks or crushed veneers.

"Leather and Lace" - Stevie Nicks & Don Henley

Most romantic lyrics: "Lovers forever, face to confront/ My city, your mountains/ Stay with me, stay/ I need you to love me/ I need you today/ Give me to me your leather, take from me my lace"

Rationale: This is Stevie Nicks' lyricism at its nigh poignant. She wrote "Leather and Lace" herself so performed it with Don Henley (of The Eagles) while they were dating. This duet is beautiful in and of itself, only their chemistry and passion for each other makes it all the more impactful. An ex played this for me one time, unprompted, and I retrieve thinking, My God, dude. Why would you do this to me?

Wrecked.

The Way You Await Tonight" - Frank Sinatra

Most romantic lyrics: "Lovely, never, never change/ go along that breathless charm/ won't you please arrange it?/ 'Crusade I love you lot/ Just the manner y'all look this evening"

Rationale: Ah, yes. The song that plays at every wedding on earth. Pop songs are popular for a reason, though, and this one endures because of the accepting, unconditional sort of love that information technology depicts. In improver to Sinatra's version, I'm also partial to Fred Astaire'south rendition in the 1936 pic Swing Fourth dimension and the sweet yet natural language-in-cheek visuals get along with it.

"Everlasting Light" - The Black Keys

Near romantic lyrics: "Let me be your everlasting light/ Your train going away from hurting/ Honey is the coal that makes this train roll/ Permit me be your everlasting light"

Rationale: If y'all read the lyrics without the music, the whole song sounds kind of like a late nineteenth century poem. The love in this song is and so pure and hopeful, and you lot'll definitely gain cool-points by playing The Black Keys on a first date.

"To Know Him Is To Love Him" - Amy Winehouse

Most romantic lyrics: "To know, know, know him/ Is to love, dear, love him/ Just to see that smile/ Makes my life worthwhile"

Rationale: No i does unbridled love like Amy Winehouse. Her soulful vocalism takes heart stage in this Phil Spector cover, and if you're non already in dearest, information technology will make you lot desire to be.

"Like Real People Do" - Hozier

Almost romantic lyrics: "I will not ask you where you lot came from/ I volition not ask you, neither should you/ Love, just put your sweet lips on my lips/ We should just kiss like real people do"

Rationale: Hither, Hozier is trying to convince his love interest to forget that they both take pasts (who doesn't?) and to just love him. In that location'south a sense that both people in the song consider themselves odd in some way (over again, who doesn't?), and that they've been searching for partners similar each other for ages. "Similar Real People Do" reminds usa of how miraculous information technology feels to love and be loved dorsum.

"Can't Take My Eyes Off You" - Franki Valli & The Four Seasons

Well-nigh romantic lyrics: "You're just too good to exist true/ Tin can't have my eyes off of you/ You'd be like heaven to touch on/ I wanna hold you so much"

Rationale: To quote every Boomer from my home state of New Jersey: They just don't make 'em similar this anymore. And it's truthful―this vocal manages to balance emotional and sexual yearning without existence crude.

And only... the gratitude Valli feels when he sings most loving his daughter so much that he thanks God he's alive. My Lord. They really but do not brand 'em quite like this anymore.

"Forrest Gump" - Frank Sea

Most romantic lyrics: "My fingertips and my lips/ They burn from the cigarettes/ Forrest Gump, you run my mind, boy/ Running on my mind, male child"

Rationale: This is Frank Ocean'southward most criminally underrated vocal and I will fight anyone who has anything negative to say virtually it. In fact, I once made a very loud, spirited defense of this song when I was in high schoolhouse, right after Bounding main's ill-received performance of it at the 2013 Grammys.

The song is told from the perspective of Jenny in the 1994 film Forrest Gump. It's about a cleaved, tired person coming back to their pure, enduring love after a great bargain of time has passed. It's particularly meaningful, in my opinion, because Body of water penned the song in the wake of his very public coming-out.

"Accept Me The Way I Am" - Ingrid Michaelson

Most romantic lyrics: "'Crusade I love y'all more I could ever promise/ And you take me the way I am"

Rationale: What a throwback! Ingrid Michaelson was responsible for some of the sweetest manic-pixie-dream-daughter dear songs of the early on 2000s, and this i was her well-nigh pop. Michaelson rejoices in having constitute a partner who loves her, flaws and all, and she responds in kind, promising to repair what her partner breaks and buy him Rogaine when his hair starts falling out. Information technology'southward a promise to love someone forever.

"I'm Not Expressionless" - P!nk

Most romantic lyrics: "Right beyond the cigarette and the devilish grin/Yous're my crack of sunlight/ Yous can practise the math a m means/ But you can't erase the facts/ That others come and others go/ Merely you always come dorsum"

Rationale: This is my favorite era of P!nk'south music. In "I'm Not Dead," she writes a frank, unapologetic dear vocal about being a flawed human deeply in love with some other flawed human. Waxing poetic about her and her boyfriend's (her future husband, Cary Hart, by the way) tattoos and alluding to her own mental illness, P!nk eschews all tired clichés about love in favor of something far more authentic and affecting.

"Hannah Hunt" - Vampire Weekend

About romantic lyrics: "A man of faith said hidden eyes could see what I was thinkin'/ I just smiled and told him/ That was only true of Hannah"

Rationale: Oh, Ezra Koenig, how y'all wound me with your beautiful words! In this song, our narrator seems to exist moving around the U.Southward. with his beloved Hannah until she grows homesick for the east coast. Having lived in New England for effectually 7 years, I'm partial to this song for its "freezing beaches" references, merely it'south also a gentle tribute to the way time glides abroad when you're with someone you beloved.

"A Song For Y'all" - Donny Hathaway

Most romantic lyrics: "I dear you in a identify/ Where at that place's no space or fourth dimension/ I love y'all for my life/ Y'all're a friend of mine/ And when my life is over/ Remember when we were together"

Rationale: In that location accept been many versions of this vocal, but this one's my favorite. It was too Amy Winehouse's favorite. Donny Hathaway sings this with such feeling that i can't help but feel he's reciting a memoir when he sings his apology to a woman he neglected to settle down with because he was too busy performing effectually the earth.

"Maps" - Yeah Aye Yeahs

Most romantic lyrics: "Don't stray/ My kind's your kind/ I'll stay the same."

Rationale: Yes, this vocal is ninety percent just Karen O singing "Wait, they don't beloved you like I love yous," but it'south so powerful! If you say something the right fashion, and the accompanying music is proficient enough, at that place's no demand to embellish much more. Proof: Beyoncé clearly nods to this song in her 2016 single "Concur Upwardly." "Maps" endures, over a decade later, across genres.

"If I Ain't Got You" - Alicia Keys

Virtually romantic lyrics: "Some people want diamond rings/ Some but want everything/ But everything means zero/ If I own't got you"

Rationale: This song is all the more touching when y'all recollect that she wrote information technology just equally she was beginning to go famous. She promises that her renown―the fruit of all her labor―along with promises of riches, jewelry, or countless life would all mean nothing if she didn't take her man.

"Pine Tree Lines" - Told Slant

Nearly romantic lines: "I am the girl my parents made/ Why don't y'all love me anyway/ 'Cause I love the fashion y'all take up space"

Rationale: Devastating genius. Lead singer Felix Walworth delivers this vocal and so earnestly that his voice literally cracks during that last line. I've never heard a simpler or more startlingly accurate depiction of adoration than loving the way someone takes up infinite.

"Inevitable" - Shakira

Most romantic lyrics: "To be fifty-fifty more honest/ No one thinks about you lot/ The way I practise" (Translated from Spanish)

Rationale: Shakira spends most of this song laying out all her imperfections―that she doesn't know how to brand coffee, that she doesn't understand soccer, that she oversleeps, etc.―and and then gain to inquire her man to dearest her anyhow.

"I Found You" - Alabama Shakes

Most romantic lyrics: "I remember all them lonely days/ I traveled out on my own/ Then y'all brought me everything/ You made my house a habitation"

Rationale: This is a celebration of finally finding your person. So who meliorate to listen to it with than your person? Romantic, indeed.

"Rag Doll" - Franki Valli & The Iv Seasons

Most romantic lines: "I'd change her sad rags/ Into glad rags if I could/ My folks won't allow me/ 'Cause they say that she'due south no skilful."

Rationale: Another Four Seasons song, yep. I'grand from Jersey. Sue me.

Franki Valli declares his unconditional love for a daughter much poorer than he is, fantasizing about replacing her tattered clothes with lace and finery. In spite of her poverty, he ends the vocal by crying, "I beloved you just the way you are."

He wants to give everything to someone who can offering him naught cloth. All he wants is her.

"Since I've Been Loving Yous" - Led Zeppelin

Most romantic lyrics: "But infant, since I've been loving yous, yeah/ I'1000 about to lose my worried mind/ Oh, yeah"

Rationale: Human, these lyrics look so underwhelming when written down sans musical accompaniment. Information technology's tragic.

What makes this song so romantic, to me, is the organ and bass work by John Paul Jones pair with Robert Plant's searing vocals. It's a power blues song that hits you right in the gut. If desperate desire were a audio, this would be it.

"You Got Me" - Erykah Badu and The Roots

Virtually romantic lines: "If y'all don't worry 'tour where/ I been or who I saw  or/ What lodge I went to with my homies/ Infant, don't worry, you know that yous got me"

Rationale: I cried when I saw this alive. Erykah reassures her boyfriend during the chorus that she'll always be loyal to him, while Blackness Thought (lead MC of The Roots) uses his verses to tell the story of a lifelong romance. It'due south the best dear song in hip hop, hands downwardly.

"(Y'all Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman - Aretha Franklin

Nearly romantic lyrics: "When my soul was in the lost and found/ You came along to claim it/ I didn't know but what was incorrect with me/ 'Til your buss helped me proper name it"

Rationale: Nosotros should heal ourselves rather than wait around for someone to heal u.s.a., only that doesn't mean that beloved can't be a healing feel. It's actually romantic to thank someone for making you feel skilful, and that'south precisely what this vocal (written past the flawless Carole Rex) is about.

"Jade" - Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

Almost romantic lyrics: "We tin can't aid but follow, she's Buddha, but watch her/ She moves like an old gypsy woman but swears she's a girl/ And all that she asks we'll allow her/ For Jade is the girl of the hour"

Rationale: Alex Ebert wrote this song for Jade Castrinos when they were both nonetheless dating and still the frontpeople of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. The vocal is a tranquility love letter to Castrinos―y'all could imagine Ebert singing information technology to her at night by the bivouac while the remainder of the band is comatose (that'south this band'due south vibe, really). It'southward a shame that we no longer get to watch the sweet relationship between these talented musicians, just at least we'll always have this hippie love vocal.

"Wild Horses" - The Rolling Stones

Near romantic lyrics: "Graceless lady/ You know who I am/ You know I can't let you/ Slide through my easily/ Wild horses/ Couldn't drag me away"

Rationale: One of the wildest bands of the '60s and '70s also happened to write one of the most poignant songs well-nigh love and devotion. This is almost a long, deep intimacy betwixt two people, and of existence physically unable to resist the person you lot admire.

"Jim Bogart" - The Front Bottoms

Most romantic lyrics: "I would slumber ameliorate on your floor/ Than I would e'er in my bed/ And if your carpet makes my confront itch/ It'd still be heaven in my head"

Rationale: "Jim Bogart" opens with the above lyrics, sung with pb vocalist Brian Sella's signature raw vocals. He abandons all pride in his love for this daughter, promising to practice his guitar every night, to sleep on her flooring without complaint, and to to ignore his doctor'southward advice―all to win her love. Nosotros shouldn't have to debase ourselves for love (*rolls eyes* yeah, yep yeah), only this is art. And if we're beingness honest, this sentiment is relatable for anyone who's prayed for their love to be reciprocated.

"Loving Y'all" - Elvis Presley

Most romantic lyrics: "If I'm seen with someone new/ Don't be blueish, don't yous be bluish/ I'll be faithful, I'll be true/ Always true, truthful to you"

Rationale: Elvis tells his love non to get jealous or to believe the hype around him and other women, reassuring her that she's the one for him. Although multiple sources have claimed that Elvis did, indeed, crook on his wife, Priscilla, this remains his sweetest honey song.

"Melissa" - The Allman Brothers Band

Almost romantic lyrics: "Knowing many, loving none/ Bearin' sorrow, havin' fun/ Only dorsum home he'll always run/ To sweet Melissa"

Rationale: Here, the Allman Brothers sing about a traveling musician who can't become over his sweetheart no matter how many other women he meets. She always ends up resurfacing in his mind, and somewhen, he always returns to her.

"My Old Human being" - Joni Mitchell

Nearly romantic lyrics: "He's my sunshine in the morning/ He's my fireworks at the terminate of the day/ He'south the warmest chord I e'er caput/ Play that warm chord, play and stay, baby"

Rationale: Mitchell's soaring mezzo-soprano meanders through a portrait of her human relationship in this song, insisting throughout that, "We don't need no piece of paper from the city hall." She'due south proverb that she doesn't need external validation of the relationship―this homo gives her all she needs to feel secure in their bail.

"Devil In a New Dress" - Kanye W, Rick Ross

Nearly romantic lyrics: "Put your hands to the constellations/ The manner you look should exist a sin, you my sensation"

Rationale: Kanye West is a pretty polarizing figure, just this is nonetheless one of my favorite albums of all time. It's a bloodshot tribute to his infamous relationship with Bister Rose, and this song encapsulates the frequently-sexy, e'er-complicated connection between two people who aren't good for each other, yet can't stay away from one another.

"Honey of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop)" - Erykah Badu, Common

About romantic lyrics: "But that is all behind me/ 'Cause at present in that location is no other/ My love is his and his is mine/ A friend became the/ Dear of my life"

Rationale: Conventional advice tells the states to autumn in love with someone who can be our  friend, too. This song is about two lifelong best friends who find their manner back to each other subsequently time spent apart. With her famously beguiling vocalization, Erykah Badu captures the joy of being truly known past ane's partner.

"A Sunday Kind of Beloved" - Etta James

Virtually romantic lyrics: "I want a Sunday kind of love/ A love to concluding past Saturday nighttime/ I want to know it'southward more than than love at first sight"

Rationale: We've all been at this point earlier. If Etta James were to have written this song today, she would have been explaining that she was sick of i-night-stands and Tinder/Bumble/Hinge dates that go nowhere. She'd exist maxim she was tired of sweaty strangers in bars shouting into her ear, over deafening music, asking if she wants to take a shot.

Instead, she'd want something substantial. Someone to relax and binge Schitt's Creek reruns with on the weekends.

May we all find that Dominicus kind love.

"Baby I'm Yours" - Arctic Monkeys

Most romantic lyrics: "Baby, I'm yours/ And I'll exist yours until the stars fall from the sky/ Yours until the rivers all run dry out/ In other words, until I die"

Rationale: This vocal sounds similar information technology was written in the '50s or '60s. In some ways, it's your run-of-the-mill slow song, only at that place'southward something charming about the Chill Monkeys beingness the ones to perform this retro pledge of devotion.

"She Will Be Loved" - Maroon 5

Most romantic lyrics:"I don't mind spendin' everyday / Out on your corner in the pourin' rain"

Rationale:I call back listening to this song in middle schoolhouse, wishing that the boy I had a beat out on would love me enough to stand outside my window in the rain. In retrospect, that would accept been awkward and inconvenient to explain to my female parent, and these days I would probably find such beliefs creepy (when I'm in my pajamas in my flat, peacefully eating Takis and watching The Sopranos, the terminal matter I need is a human being standing exterior, watching me from the street like something out of The Exorcist), only the sentiment of this song yet stands.

"Considering the Night" - Patti Smith

Near romantic lyrics: "Come up on, now, endeavor and understand/ The mode I feel when I'm in your hands/ Take my manus, come hush-hush/ They tin't hurt yous now"

Rationale: In this song, which was originally written past lyrical legend Bruce Springsteen, Smith promises her lover that he's safe with her. If you've read Smith'due south book Only Kids, you'll probably listen to this vocal and think of her and Robert Mapplethorpe singing and dancing to it down the streets of lower Manhattan.

"La Vie En Rose" - Edith Piaf

Most romantic lyrics: "When he holds me in his arms/ And he speaks to me softly/ I encounter the world through rose-colored glasses" (Translated from French)

Rationale: You definitely know this song. It's the go-to for every romantic scene in every American pic nearly France. And, granted, it'southward a neat choice for a dinner date, specially if y'all want to get a little slow dancing started.

"Someday" - The Growlers

Most romantic lyrics: "Merely stay for one more dark/ One twenty-four hours y'all're gonna exist my wife/ You'll never have to worry again/ I'g gonna exist your homo"

Rationale: Information technology sounds lead singer Brooks Nielsen's now-wife was getting really sick of his bullshit, and that he wrote this song as a plea to become her to say. It'due south poetic, energetic, and hopeful, and it would have worked on me, too, tbh.

"Wouldn't It Be Nice" - The Embankment Boys

Most romantic lyrics: "Wouldn't it be dainty if we were older?/ Then nosotros wouldn't have to wait so long"

Rationale: This is sung from the perspective of someone who'south already sure nigh who he wants to spend the residuum of his life with. And he'south wishing that the residuum of his life could commencement right now.

"Stay" - Rihanna, Mikky Ekko

Near romantic lyrics: "Not really certain how to feel about it/ Somethin' in the way you motility/ Makes me feel like I can't live without you"

Rationale: Dearest isn't a formula. There'southward no existent logic to why we fall in love with some people just not others, and Rihanna hits the smash on the head when she says information technology'southward only "something in the way [he] move[s]." It'south reminiscent of The Beatles' song "Something." Speaking of which...

"Something" - The Beatles

Virtually romantic lyrics: "Something in the way she moves / Attracts me like no other lover / Something in the way she woos me / I don't desire to leave her at present"

Rationale:This vocal is a slow, dreamy ode on an otherwise bluesy album. George Harrison was the Beatle who penned it, writing that he wasn't sure what exactly triggered his beloved or whether it would grow.  All he knew was that the love was there, and that that should exist plenty.

"Androgynous" - The Replacements

Most romantic lyrics: "And they dear each other then/ Androgynous/ Closer than nosotros know, beloved each other so/ Androgynous"

Rationale: This song is about 2 non-binary people falling in dearest, which is pretty cool for a song from 1984. Our main characters, archetypically named Dick and Jane, dear each other regardless of gender. The Replacements make a compelling argument most why traditional gender roles and clothing should brand no difference if you're truly in beloved with someone.

"I'll Exist Seeing You" - Billie Holiday

Virtually romantic lyrics: "I'll find y'all in the morning time sun/ In every lovely summertime's day/ In everything that's right and gay/ I'll always think of yous"

Rationale: You know when you're freshly in love (or heartbroken), and everything reminds you of that person? That's what this vocal is virtually. Everything around Holiday―the natural world, a park, a cafe, a carousel―is a fond reminder of her dearest.

"Sunday Processed" - Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment

Most romantic lyrics: "You've got to move information technology slowly/ Have information technology in my trunk like information technology'southward holy/ I've been waiting for you for the whole week/ I've been praying for you, you're my Sunday candy"

Rationale: The Social Experiment is the hip hop collective that boasts members such equally Hazard the Rapper and Vic Mensa (the former of which is featured heavily on this vocal). Jamila Forest performs the chorus to this song then sweetly that information technology's like shooting fish in a barrel to forget the sexual implications, and she and Adventure tell the story of a couple that spends a calendar week at a time missing each other, captivated in thoughts of one another until they're finally reunited.

"Come As You Are" - Nirvana

Most romantic lyrics: "Come as you are/ Every bit you lot were/ As I want you lot to be"

Rationale: There are many interpretations of what this song means, ranging from mental health to friendship to commentary on inauthenticity. Only, to me, "Come As You lot Are" works as the ultimate grunge love vocal; every bit a promise to dear and appreciate someone merely the way they are.

"Please, Delight, Please" - James Chocolate-brown

Nigh romantic lyrics: "Baby please, infant please, delight me/ Baby delight, babe delight don't go/ Don't go, I said baby, don't baby/ I love you and so"

Rationale: This vocal is near entirely comprised of James Brown repeating "delight," and, supposedly, he got a lot of flack from his producers almost that before its release. But, similar the Yeah Yes Yeahs' "Maps," this track'due south magic lies in the passion with which it'southward delivered–and James Chocolate-brown is nil if not passionate.

"I Will Always Love You lot" - Dolly Parton

Most romantic lyrics: "And I promise life volition treat you kind/ And I hope that you accept all/ That you lot e'er dreamed of/ Oh, I do wish y'all joy/ And I wish you happiness/ But above all this/ I wish yous love"

Rationale: Without a doubt, y'all're familiar with Whitney Houston'due south rendition of "I Will Always Love You," simply I honey Dolly Parton'southward soft-spoken, land version as well. Where Houston belts, Parton croons, making this a slap-up alternative for when you want to hear this song on a quiet evening in.

 "Songbird" - Fleetwood Mac

Most romantic lyrics: "And I wish you lot all the love in the world/ But most of all, I wish it from myself/ And the songbirds keep singing/ Like they know the score"

Rationale: Fleetwood Mac's members were notorious for hooking up within their ranks, and Christine McVie (writer and master vocalizer on this song) was no exception. This is a unique love song, considering it does unconditional love unlike any other: It illustrates how it's entirely possible to love someone and want the best for them while accepting, albeit sadly, that you might not be that best thing.

"Kickoff Twenty-four hours of My Life" - Bright Eyes

Most romantic lyrics: "But I realized I need you/ And I wondered if I could come up home"

Rationale: This Bright Eyes rail makes me wish I was better at playing guitar. Frontman Conor Oberst makes a frank plea for his honey, telling her, "I'thousand glad I didn't dice before I met you," and asking for permission to arroyo. It's an do in startling honesty, and the outcome, similar the whole album, is profound.

"Sea of Beloved" - Cat Power

Virtually romantic lyrics: "Come with me, my dearest/ To the sea, the sea of beloved/ I wanna tell you/ How much I love you "

Rationale: Originally, the final vocal on this listing was going to be T.I.'s "Whatever You Like" considering I'm adamant that it volition play at my wedding 1 day (I'm not kidding), but "Bounding main of Love" is too romantic to pass upward. With minimal instrumentation, Cat Ability delivers a cursory but heartfelt dear alphabetic character whose genius lies in its profound simplicity. 10/10.
